Lucknow: A special mock interview program for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPCS) 2025 candidates will commence on September 23. The initiative, spearheaded by the Social Welfare Ministry, aims to refine candidates' interview skills, personality, communication abilities, and confidence. Held at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute in Gomti Nagar, the program will be guided by IAS-PCS officers from the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management (UPAAM) and subject matter experts.
Participants will engage in interview preparation strategies, answering techniques, personality presentation, communication skills, and confidence-building. The program is conducted in stages, enabling candidates to adapt to the interview atmosphere. Simultaneously, the Social Welfare Ministry operates eight residential coaching centers, offering free residential training and amenities like mess, library, internet access, test series, and study material.
Recreation, sports, and gym facilities are also provided. The mock interviews are free of charge, and candidates who cleared the UPPCS-2025 Main Examination, as well as those trained at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute or other pre-examination centers and those enrolled in the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana, are eligible.
The state government's objective is to provide extra guidance to aspiring youth for the next stage of competitive examinations.
