Tehran has seven demands for Donald Trump

Iran has outlined seven conditions to the United States through Qatar for negotiating an end to the ongoing war, according to Mohsen Rezaei, the secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. Rezaei stated that the conditions encompass an end to hostilities on all fronts, the release of frozen Iranian funds, and the cessation of the naval blockade.

If Washington rejects these demands, Iran remains prepared for a decisive war, Rezaei added. The conditions were conveyed to the US via Qatar and Pakistan, who have been working to re-establish negotiations between Tehran and Washington since the expiration of a memorandum of understanding. Rezaei warned that Tehran would not rule out the possibility of another US strike, as the military planning had changed following earlier rounds of fighting.

The Iranian security chief emphasized that Iran's current focus is on US naval assets and has recently test-fired a multi-warhead anti-ship missile near a US vessel or aircraft carrier. Rezaei rejected speculation that Iran could close the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and stated that the waterway is a Yemeni matter. He also clarified that Iran has not decided to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and that its nuclear doctrine remains unchanged.
