Should Brewers Make Robert Gasser No. 3 Starter In Postseason

The Milwaukee Brewers are preparing for their first postseason game and are questioning who will start in the third spot. Jacob Misiorowski and Logan Henderson have been confirmed as the first two starters, but Kyle Harrison's recent struggles have put Robert Gasser in the spotlight. Gasser, who was acquired in a deal that sent Josh Hader to the Brewers, has a 4.30 ERA this season, but he has been pitching well in his last four outings, including a strong 5 1/3 inning performance after Dustin May took a hit to the elbow.

With a traditional four-man rotation uncertain, Gasser's experience and recent performance make him a strong candidate for the No. 3 spot. Pat Murphy has also suggested using Gasser and Shane Drohan as bulk pitchers, bypassing the need for a fourth starter altogether.
