Seminole's Knelsen scores 4 TDs | Week 4 high school football top performers

Gavyn Knelsen of Seminole led the week with four touchdowns, contributing six receptions for 208 yards and three scores from the field. In contrast, Idalou's A.J. Huddleston showcased his dual-threat capabilities, rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries, and also scored a 44-yard touchdown on a single reception.

Jacob Gonzales of Seminole proved to be a prolific passer, completing 28 of 33 passes for 404 yards and seven touchdowns. Sammy Saenz of Littlefield completed 11 of 20 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to contributing 75 yards and two scores on the ground over Christoval. Chase Lantelme of Ropes led the team with 112 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries during a victory over Panhandle, while also contributing four carries for 147 yards and a touchdown via passing.

Tak Miller of Farwell rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 16 attempts, adding a 44-yard reception in Seminole's win over Muleshoe. Jude Heard of Idalou contributed 177 yards and three scores on the ground over the same opponent. Coy Miller of Farwell led the team in rushing with 179 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries, while also contributing one reception for 44 yards.

Logan Winn of Shallowater completed 16 of 22 passes for 259 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions in a win over Monahans, while also contributing 28 yards on the ground on three carries. Jayden Barrio of Littlefield was a dual threat, catching five passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns, along with five tackles and an interception on defense.

Daniel Rojas of Littlefield rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns in the team's 148-yard game against Roosevelt, and also totaled 11 tackles, including one for a loss. David Franco of Denver City threw for 227 yards, one touchdown, and an interception, while also rushing for 32 yards and a score. James Ortega of Denver City rushed for 148 yards on 23 carries, while Andres Ornelas carried the ball 19 times for 52 yards and four touchdowns, as well as catching his one completion for 29 yards.

Bristol Simental of Ropes made a spectacular 97-yard touchdown catch. Britton Mitchell of Ropes led the defense with 21 tackles (eight solo), including three for a loss, one sack, and four quarterback hurries. Kolt Micheletti of Abernathy rushed for 97 yards on 15 carries in a loss to Coahoma. Luis Ornelas of Denver City recorded 13 catches for 83 yards. Jaycen Robledo of Seminole was a consistent receiver, garnering 10 catches for 82 yards. Micah Blackshear of Shallowater contributed four catches for 52 yards and two touchdowns.
