Rhode Island’s offshore wind turbines are becoming crab habitat

Stony Brook's CJ Hester rushed for four touchdowns, while Jeremiah Coney added three more, as the two squads met in the Seawolves' Coastal Athletic Association debut. Stony Brook emerged victorious with a score of 56-24 against Rhode Island. The first half saw Hester score three touchdowns, two of them from a yard out in the final minute, pushing Stony Brook ahead 28-17.

Hester's fourth touchdown, in the third quarter's final minute, tied a program record for rushing touchdowns, set four times before. Coney contributed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Quinn Boyd led the Seawolves with 153 yards on 14 carries, including 198 yards passing and a touchdown. James Dely added 89 receiving yards, including a 69-yard score.

James Dely threw for 209 yards, including a touchdown to Marquis Buchanan, who amassed 124 receiving yards for the Rams. The Rams entered the game as the No. 8 team in the Stats Perform poll, with their next match against North Carolina A&T scheduled for next Saturday.
