Madrid dominated the first quarter, leading 24-15, and despite facing intense pressure from Olympiacos in the third quarter, they managed to pull through with a final score of 93-89.

Walter Tavares, who added six points and seven rebounds in the final matchup, was named the tournament's MVP. Madrid's coach Pedro Martinez expressed delight with his team's resilience and mentality, stating that the win sets a precedent for the upcoming season. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot led the charge for Madrid with 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists, while Facundo Campazzo contributed five rebounds and nine assists despite scoring only seven points.

Meanwhile, Turkish side Fenerbahce claimed the third position by beating UAE's Dubai Basketball 85-77, with Talen Horton-Tucker leading the charge with 23 points and three rebounds. EuroLeague CEO Chus Bueno provided an update on the ongoing talks between the EuroLeague and the NBA, clarifying that the league has not received any formal proposal from the NBA outlining potential partnership terms.

Bueno stressed that both sides have publicly agreed on the importance of collaboration for the growth of basketball in Europe.
