Plateau: CAN demands security beef up after Koggul attack victims’ mass burial

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has called for enhanced security measures in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State following the mass burial of victims from the Koggul village attack. In a condolence message to the affected families and the Koggul community, CAN expressed deep sympathy for the bereaved and prayed for the injured to recover from their injuries.

During their visit, CAN emphasized the importance of unity and vigilance among residents to protect one another. The organization also appealed to the federal government, Plateau State government, local authorities, and security agencies to prioritize the protection of lives and property, as well as prevent future attacks. CAN emphasized its commitment to praying for peace, justice, and healing in Mangu and throughout Plateau State, while supporting the families impacted by the attack.
