Navigating life's treacherous sands of despair can be incredibly difficult. The world appears to grow harsher, crueler, and more tumultuous with each passing day. Horrific atrocities continue to unfold, yet they are accepted with blind acceptance and a natural indifference. No one stops genocides, but Tomoko Akane, the President of the International Criminal Tribunal, has just been sanctioned by the United States.

This is due to President Trump's belief that the ICC is "a corrupt and politicized institution" that threatens the sovereignty of his country. Akane is barred from entering the United States and her credit card has been immediately canceled. These are the first consequences of the sanction, and it is safe to assume there will be more.

When did reality turn into this unfinished nightmare?
