Nashville SC have officially secured a spot in the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs after a commanding 3-0 victory over Chicago Fire FC on Saturday night. The team's 12th win in 13 home matches this season, combined with a staggering 37 of 39 possible points at GEODIS Park, marked their first time in club history where all three Designated Players scored in a single game.

Coach B.J. Callaghan expressed pride in the team's achievements, stating that the body of work was strong enough to reach this milestone, and they are ready to move forward. The Boys in Gold currently lead the Supporters' Shield race by eight points over Vancouver Whitecaps FC and hold an 11-point lead over New England Revolution in the Eastern Conference table.

With 57 points after 26 matches, Nashville could clinch the Supporters' Shield before their match against FC Cincinnati on November 7, should they maintain their current pace. Their eight remaining matches feature a challenging mix of home and away games, but their undefeated home record, the league's best defense, and their DP trio (Sam Surridge, Cristian Espinoza, and Hany Mukhtar) who have combined for 31 goals and 20 assists in the regular season, provide them with the confidence to tackle their ultimate goal of winning the MLS Cup presented by Audi on December 18.
