Multinational maritime defense alliance becomes effective operational force: analyst

Political analyst Baraka Al-Hoshan asserts that the multinational maritime defense alliance has transformed into a fully operational military framework. In an interview with Al-Ikhbariya Radio, Al-Hoshan explained that this shift from a political and legal entity to an effective operational force enhances military coordination in addressing regional maritime threats.

Participating countries are in the process of establishing a maritime deterrence force, which is altering the traditional approach to tackling maritime challenges in the region. The alliance's latest meeting centered on integrating capabilities, preparing for operational implementation, and outlining each country's contributions to the alliance.

Commander Abdullah Al-Shehri of the maritime defense alliance emphasized that any threat to freedom of navigation will be met with a unified deterrent response from a coalition of nations under shared leadership. He stressed that expanding threats will not diminish international maritime activity; instead, they will accelerate the integration and deployment of alliance resources within the designated area of responsibility.
