Mohamed Salah makes most of attacking freedom to score hat-trick

Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick and provided an assist as Trabzonspor secured a 4-0 victory over league leaders Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday. The 34-year-old's performance, reminiscent of his glory days with Liverpool, lifted Trabzonspor to 10 points and fifth place, just three points behind the leaders.

Salah also had four shots on target, three successful dribbles, and two key passes in the match. This win marked only the third of the season for Trabzonspor, following a 1-0 loss against Konyaspor that led to coach Fatih Tekke's resignation. The Egyptian football legend, who now has seven goals in the competition this season, scored his first goal in the fourth minute and his third late in the 80th minute.

Galatasaray's night was further marred when substitute Lesley Ugochukwu was sent off in the 87th minute. Trabzonspor's new coach, Thomas Reis, expressed his excitement about working with Salah and praised the team's efforts, highlighting the contributions of defenders and midfielders in creating opportunities for the attacking superstar.

Reis had previously signed a two-year contract with Trabzonspor, following Salah's lure, and replaced Tekke, who resigned after the team's elimination from the Europa League.
