Missing woman among two found dead in car in Durian Tunggal

Alor Gajah police discovered two bodies inside a car in Taman Inang Sari, Durian Tunggal, around midnight last night. The deceased were a 31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man. Police spokesperson Supt Ahmad Abu Bakar stated that preliminary investigations found no signs of foul play, such as robbery or struggle. The woman's disappearance had been reported to the police by her mother on September 17.

Ahmad explained that the body of the woman matched the description of the missing person, while the man was believed to be her acquaintance. Both victims were originally from Melaka and were discovered with their bodies swelling, indicating they had been deceased for approximately three days. The police classified the case as a sudden death and have sent the bodies to the Forensic Unit for further examination to determine the exact cause of death.
