Man City outgun Sunderland despite Brobbey’s hattrick, Liverpool win at Bournemouth

Manchester City maintained their position at the top of the Premier League with a 5-3 victory over Sunderland, despite Brian Brobbey scoring a hat-trick for the hosts. The win lifts Liverpool to sixth place, just one point behind third-placed Brighton. Leeds drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace, with Tyrick Mitchell's goal ruled out for offside. Manchester United travel to bottom-of-the-table Fulham in their next game after struggling to score in their opening four matches.
