Late-night scuffle at Delhi residential building kills realtor, injures brother

A fatal altercation erupted in a residential building in Kalkaji, Southeast Delhi, early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of a 48-year-old realtor and injury to his brother. The police were alerted to the dispute around 12.03 am, dispatching a team to the scene. The brothers, Manjeet Singh, known as Bunty, and Dilbag Singh, were taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre; however, Manjeet was pronounced dead upon arrival, while Dilbag was discharged after receiving treatment for a fractured leg.

Dilbag recounted how he learned of the attack at around 11.30 pm on Saturday, finding his brother unconscious on the ground upon his arrival. The attackers pursued Dilbag, beating him as well before his sister intervened, forcing them to flee. The family was reportedly unaware of any disputes involving Manjeet's real estate business.

A preliminary investigation indicated the altercation began outside the building before turning violent. Police are currently reviewing security footage from the building and surrounding areas to piece together the exact events and identify those responsible.
