Inglis and Ellis shine to steer Australia to one wicket win over Zimbabwe

Australia's thrilling one-wicket win over Zimbabwe will give the team the confidence to overcome tough situations in the upcoming 12-month-old World Cup, according to Josh Inglis. After their openers exited early, Inglis, who scored his second ODI century, led the team to a 3-0 series whitewash by finishing with 103, securing the victory with one ball to spare.

"I think we're going to get in those situations again," Inglis stated. "For those guys to have done that today with a World Cup 12 months away, it will leave a good feeling with them, and they'll have a better idea of how to go about that situation again next time." Despite conceding his wicket and relying on Nathan Ellis to seal the win, Inglis expressed satisfaction in finding his rhythm after scoring 4 and 21 in the first two matches.

He attributed his success at number four to the shift to one-day cricket and the responsibility that comes with it. Australia will now face South Africa in a three-match ODI series beginning on Thursday.
