I lost my pregnancy while filming – Toyin Abraham opens up

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham recently disclosed that she experienced a pregnancy loss while still working on a film. She made the announcement at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos. Abraham mentioned that she was four months pregnant but lost the pregnancy, which left her emotionally and physically affected. She recounted the support she received from Pastor Bolaji Idowu during this challenging period.

Initially, she struggled with telling her parents, particularly her mother, about the loss, but eventually confided in her husband, actor Kola Ajeyemi, who was away at the time. To address the medical aspect, Abraham sought help from Pastor Idowu, who began praying for her and inquired about her location. The pastor then sent her a substantial sum of naira to assist with her medical treatment.

Abraham expressed her gratitude to Pastor Idowu for his support during this difficult time. She had previously spoken about her own experience with pregnancy loss in 2022, where she disclosed a loss that deeply affected her, especially as she hoped to have more children in the future.
