Großes SUV: Skoda Peaq nimmt sieben auf einen Streich

Skoda has introduced the first SUV in its lineup featuring seven seats, the Peaq. This compact crossover will be available from the Czech manufacturer later this year, priced at a minimum of 49,900 Euros. Compared to the Enyaq, the top model, the Peaq boasts a 20 cm increase in length and 2.96 meters in wheelbase, bringing the total dimensions to 4.87 meters in length and 2.96 meters in width.

This additional space accommodates a third row of seats, though this feature is available as an optional upgrade primarily aimed at families with younger children. To improve passenger ease of entry, the driver's seat can be adjusted by two inches further back. Skoda's marketing emphasizes the ample trunk space, offering 935 liters of storage capacity for luggage and other gear, with the frunk area reduced to accommodate the charging cable and a rolling luggage carrier.

The vehicle is projected to achieve a range of up to 640 kilometers on a single charge. Under the hood, Skoda has equipped the Peaq with three engine options and two battery capacities, ranging from a 150 kW/204 PS or 210 kW/286 PS front-drive motor to a 220 kW/299 PS all-wheel-drive system. Battery options include 63 kWh or 91 kWh batteries, promising standard ranges of 459 to 647 kilometers.

Under optimal conditions, these batteries can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just half an hour, reaching a top speed of 180 km/h, with a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 6.7 seconds.
