Gov promises construction of road in Sokoto North after condolence visit

The Sokoto State Government has pledged to rebuild the deteriorated Layin Gidan Bello Dan Baba Road in Waziri C Ward of Sokoto North Local Government Area. Governor Ahmed Aliyu made this announcement on Saturday evening, after he paid his respects to the family of the late poet, Musa Mai Akwai Gidadawa, as part of his routine condolence visits to grieving families across the region.

The governor expressed his dissatisfaction with the poor state of the road and pledged the state government's commitment to rectifying the situation. He emphasized the road's crucial significance to the economic and social welfare of the local populace. "Upon seeing the dire condition of this road, I am genuinely moved," Aliyu stated.

He assured the community that a team of engineers would be dispatched to evaluate the road's state and provide recommendations to the authorities. The governor also noted that his condolence tours across the state had often revealed various community challenges, some of which he has since tackled. Aliyu reiterated his administration's dedication to enhancing the well-being of the people through projects that are beneficial to the community.

He appealed for the continued support and cooperation of the state's residents to achieve this collective goal.
