FSU’s Samuel Singleton Jr. leaves Alabama Game on crutches

Florida State's running back Samuel Singleton Jr. exited Saturday's game against Alabama on crutches following a powerful moment earlier in the contest. Singleton had a crucial 65-yard touchdown run, setting up a Seminoles score, but his electrifying play came with a price. He departed the field on crutches and did not return, ending his night prematurely as Florida State trailed 40-28 with Alabama taking a 40-28 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Singleton had already contributed 106 all-purpose yards before his injury, continuing his strong season start. As the sophomore led Florida State's offense with six receptions for 94 yards and two touchdowns, the team relied heavily on freshman running back Ousmane Kromah, who amassed 65 rushing yards and a touchdown in the first three quarters.

However, Tre Wisner had not yet seen action on the ground. The absence of Singleton poses a significant challenge for the Seminoles, who now must mount a comeback in the fourth quarter without one of their most explosive offensive weapons.
