FRSC disowns viral fake recruitment notice, warns against fraudsters

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has dismissed a false recruitment notice circulating online, cautioning applicants against following its instructions. The notice purportedly directed unshortlisted or uninvited candidates for the 2026 recruitment round to visit their nearest FRSC camp for verification by September 25, 2026. The Corps categorically declared the communication as unauthorized and false, urging applicants not to comply with the notice.

FRSC emphasized that it did not issue such an order and advised the public to rely solely on their official channels for updates on the recruitment process. The organization previously announced the close of its 2026 recruitment, inviting applicants to apply for various officer cadre positions. FRSC has warned against providing personal information or making payments to unauthorized individuals claiming to assist in the recruitment process.

Anyone found involved in such fraudulent activities would be reported to the relevant law enforcement agencies. The road safety agency urged Nigerians to disregard the false publication and remain vigilant against potential recruitment scams.
