Fourth Edition of Al Shaqab International Arabian Horse Show returns this November

The Al Shaqab International Arabian Horse Show, the fourth edition of the prestigious event, will return to Doha from November 4–7, 2026. Organized by Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation, the show is supported by the Social & Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) and held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani.

The championship, which features distinguished Arabian horses, leading studs, owners, and breeders from around the world, returns with a broader international reputation and prominence on the Arabian horse show calendar.

Last year's edition showcased strong global participation and maintained an exceptional standard of competition, solidifying the championship as a vital meeting point for the international Arabian horse community. Classified as a Category B Show by the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), the championship offers participating horses the chance to qualify for even more prestigious international events, further highlighting its growing stature.

Registration for the fourth edition opens on September 20, 2026, and closes on October 1, 2026, welcoming owners and breeders eager to showcase their horses on the international stage. Khalid Al Jehani, a key figure in the event, emphasized the championship's commitment to preserving the purebred Arabian horse's heritage and elevating its status on the global equestrian stage.

He noted that the event has quickly become a key fixture in the Arabian horse show calendar, reflecting its high organizational standards and the impressive level of competition among participating studs.
