Endowments Ministry wraps up "Zad Al-Du'ah" forum to strengthen religious discourse

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs recently concluded the third edition of the Zad Al-Du ah Forum, a gathering aimed at strengthening religious discourse. The event convened 50 preachers from the department as part of the Masarat wa Manarat program, which focuses on training preachers and enhancing their scholarly and professional capabilities.

The forum, led by Dr. Hamza Abdullah Malaibari, an Islamic scholar specializing in Hadith studies, aimed to establish a rigorous scholarly methodology for engaging with the Prophetic Sunnah and improve the effectiveness of da'wah and linguistic performance. Sessions and workshops addressed guidelines for transmitting and understanding hadith, verifying narrations, and navigating differences among Hadith scholars in authenticating and grading narrations.

Practical training was also provided on applying diacritical markings, avoiding pronunciation errors, and improving public-speaking and preaching skills. The program's head, Ibrahim Mohammed Al Darwish, emphasized its role in keeping pace with contemporary da'wah needs and investing in preachers' skills, thereby supporting the ministry's mission of promoting sound religious awareness and moderation in society.

The organization of the program aligns with the Ministry's strategic plan to develop human capital and build a corps of religious outreach professionals who balance Islamic tradition with professional competence, aligning with Qatar National Vision's emphasis on developing national skills and a society rooted in Islamic values.
