Eagles at Titans, NFL Week 2, live updates: Tennessee takes 4th quarter lead

Nashville, Tennessee — The Philadelphia Eagles will face the Tennessee Titans in a Week 2 NFL matchup at Nissan Stadium. The Birds will have the advantage of thousands of Eagles fans supporting them. Johnny McGonigal provided live updates from the press box at Nissan Stadium.

In the fourth quarter, the Titans took the lead with a 32-yard field goal by Joey Slye, tying the game at 17-17. The Eagles had no timeouts remaining, but quarterback Jalen Hurts had an opportunity to redeem himself from his two interceptions.

Just before the fourth quarter began, the Eagles scored on an 11-play, 65-yard touchdown drive led by Tank Bigsby. Bigsby ran hard for a goal-line touchdown, extending the Eagles' lead to 17-10. Saquon Barkley, who had been returning well, also made an impact on the game.

Halftime saw the Titans cut the Eagles' lead to 10 points with a 36-yard field goal. The Eagles dominated the game, outgaining the Titans 210 to 96 yards. The Eagles would start the second half with the ball.

Injuries: Tight end Dallas Goedert, who had been performing well, suffered a knee injury and is questionable to return. The Eagles will rely on Johnny Mundt and E.J. Jenkins to take the tight end snaps in Goedert's absence. Saquon Barkley was seen on the sideline, testing his left arm and shoulder, and could return for the game.
