Allotment letters for affordable flats in Hyderabad from Sept 21; Foundation stone for tower over 2.85 acre land in Raidurg

From Monday, September 21, 2026, the Telangana Housing Board will begin sending allotment letters to beneficiaries of affordable flats in the Indiramma Housing Towers, located in Hyderabad. The letters will be delivered to the registered mobile numbers and WhatsApp accounts of the recipients, as well as made available on the Housing Board's website.

This follows a draw of lots to select beneficiaries from 16 Assembly constituencies, including those on waiting lists. Field-level verification was conducted to ensure eligibility criteria were met.

Later on Monday, September 21, 2026, the Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the Indiramma Housing Towers in Raidurg, Serilingampally Assembly constituency. The site spans 2.85 acres of land owned by the Housing Board. Each flat within the towers will have a plinth area of 528 square feet and a carpet area of 480 square feet.

The government will subsidize ₹5 lakh per flat, while beneficiaries will contribute ₹6 lakh in four installments. The state will cover the cost of the land.

The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited recently sold adjacent lands in Raidurg at high prices, with 5.25 acres going for ₹264 per acre and 5.38 acres for ₹269 crore per acre in August 2026. Based on these market benchmarks, the 2.85-acre plot for the Indiramma Housing Tower is estimated to be worth between ₹752 crore and ₹767 crore.

The average cost of a flat nearby is around ₹50 lakh. V.P. Gautham, the Vice Chairman of the Housing Board, has invited beneficiaries of the houses in Serilingampally to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony.
