Yoga Inc closes last 2 outlets in S'pore, students & teachers allegedly not told of closure

Yoga Inc, a Singapore-based yoga studio, has closed its final two locations in the country, leaving students and teachers in the dark about the abrupt closure. According to The Yoga Edit, instructors were informed via text message on September 18 that the remaining outlets at SAFRA Punggol and Our Tampines Hub would cease operations immediately.

A subsequent Facebook post from SAFRA Punggol confirmed the closure. However, Yoga Inc's Instagram page and website appeared to have been removed, with minimal information left behind and links to schedules and locations leading to non-existent pages.

Sunnie Ang, an instructor at Yoga Inc Tampines, shared on Instagram that her classes were canceled, stating that the studio had ceased operations with immediate effect. Many students were unaware of the closure, with one of Ang's students commenting that they only discovered the studio was closed on September 19 after arriving at Our Tampines Hub for a class. Despite having 18 classes remaining, the student was informed of the closure only after arriving at the studio.

Yoga Inc Pte Ltd has been struck off, and the entity has ceased to exist, as reported by Bizfile. The closure of Yoga Inc follows the liquidation of True Fitness and True Yoga, which also saw the immediate closure of all their outlets. One Reddit user claimed that their membership at True Fitness was valid until April 2027, and they visited an outlet on September 10, finding business as usual with new staff present.
