Will Stein is fired up after Kentucky’s upset win over Texas A&M

Kentucky's football team secured a shocking victory over ninth-ranked Texas A&M on Saturday, defeating the highly favored Aggies 31-21. The upset came just a week after Kentucky suffered a significant 45-17 home loss to Alabama. The Wildcats dominated the game, leading by 28-7 after three quarters and maintaining their lead in the final frame.

Kentucky head coach Will Stein, who has only coached three games so far, expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance. "I’m not shocked. This is what Kentucky football is supposed to look like," Stein stated after the match. "We were the tougher team tonight. That’s why we won the game."

Kentucky's offensive prowess was evident throughout the game, as quarterback Kenny Minchey completed 14-of-18 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Running back CJ Baxter also contributed significantly, hauling in 20 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns. On the defensive side, Kentucky's unit kept Texas A&M's quarterback Marcel Reed on tenterhooks, forcing the opposing quarterback to commit two interceptions and struggle to find his rhythm.
