The Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University, Prof. Odunayo Clement Adebooye, has emphasized the institution's dedication to academic excellence, research, innovation, character development, and societal contribution. At a press conference announcing the 16th Convocation, he revealed that the university will confer degrees upon 4,357 students, comprising 3,845 first-degree holders, nine postgraduate diploma recipients, 400 master's graduates, and 103 doctoral degree recipients.
Of the first-degree recipients, 88 achieved First-Class Honours, 1,509 earned Second-Class Upper Division, 1,946 obtained Second-Class Lower Division, and 220 received Third-Class Honours.
