Despite his administration's aggressive immigration policies, which include frequent deportations and deporting individuals the US cannot legally send back to third countries, often compensated by money, Trump claimed the US had "obliterated Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity" to prevent the Islamic republic from ever possessing a nuclear weapon.

This justification for the February US-Israeli strikes on Tehran has proven problematic, as they disrupted the global economy and plunged the Middle East into war, becoming a quagmire for a president who vowed not to engage in further foreign conflicts.

Furthermore, Trump highlighted the tariffs imposed on US trading partners, which he claimed were aimed at "bringing back American manufacturing."
