Sigma trailer: Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut is a heist comedy following Rs 500 crore

Sigma, the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, the son of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay, premiered its trailer on Friday and was unveiled by SS Rajamouli. Presented as a heist action comedy set in the underworld of drugs and gambling, the film stars Sundeep Kishan as the protagonist.

The trailer depicts Sundeep Kishan's character, a radio host, finding himself entangled in a Rs 500 crore drug and gambling racket run by Kotlapadi Veeraiya Reddy, played by Sampath Raj. Rather than fleeing, protagonist Kishan decides to confront the criminals and reclaim his lost fortune. His love interest is played by Faria Abdullah, who is an RJ, and the two develop a relationship while plotting the heist.

Raju Sundaram injects humor into the narrative, while Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, and Yog Japee form the ensemble cast in the heist.

The trailer hints at an intricate, multi-stage heist that the protagonist and his friends meticulously plan. However, unforeseen complications arise, causing the mission to spiral out of control. The latter part of the trailer shows Kishan refusing to succumb to defeat and returning with renewed resolve to complete his mission. Jason confirmed that his father, CM Vijay, will not be a part of the promotional campaign, stating that he wants the promotions to focus solely on the film.
