Russia holds parliamentary vote in areas it seized from Ukraine in the war

President Donald Trump stated in the Oval Office that Russia has been attacking Ukraine's European allies for approximately five years, according to Ukrinform's correspondent. When journalists questioned him about agreeing with Poland's assessment, Trump expressed his belief that Russia had indeed been targeting Ukraine's allies during this period.

He praised Polish President Karol Nawrocki for keeping the situation under control, calling him a great president and praising his performance. Trump also mentioned that he had supported Nawrocki when he was trailing in the polls, and noted that Nawrocki was now serving as the president of Poland and doing an excellent job. The previous day, Trump announced significant progress in creating a new U.S. military base in Poland.
