Rosenior guides Paris FC past old club Strasbourg despite hecklers

Rosenior's move to Paris FC, backed by the Arnault family, has resulted in the team's third-place standing in the table, behind Monaco and Lyon. Ilan Kebbal and Pablo Pagis scored for Paris FC, with the latter coming in the second half. Strasbourg managed a late own goal by Moustapha Mbow, which they could not capitalize on.

In another match, Rennes suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Lyon, a team that had climbed to second place with a 13-point lead, after missing out on a chance to overtake Monaco. Lyon dominated the game, with Ghana striker Ernest Nuamah netting a first-half brace. Swiss defender Zachary Athekame added a third goal with a toe-poke, while captain Corentin Tolisso scored the fourth late in the match.

Promoted side Le Mans also earned their first victory of the season with a 2-1 home win over Lorient. Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, however, remain in poor form, having only scored five points from their opening four games and will face bitter rivals Marseille in their next match.
