QMC participates in BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026

The Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) is set to take part in the BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026, an event organized by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The gathering commenced on Saturday at the Student Center in Education City and will run for two days under the theme "With Our Ideas, We Build". The QMC's involvement is as a media partner, demonstrating their commitment to supporting projects that enhance the Arabic language's presence in media and knowledge sectors.

The corporation has allocated a pavilion at the gathering to showcase their Media Encyclopedia, a specialized knowledge project. This project provides an Arabic documentation of media concepts, terminology, and theories, along with prominent figures in the media and influential institutions. The encyclopedia adheres to an academic approach, connecting media knowledge with its intellectual and historical contexts.

Ali Issa, the official spokesperson for QMC, stated that their media partnership with the BilAraby forum is motivated by their interest in initiatives that bolster the Arabic language's role in the media landscape. He also underscored the corporation's dedication to enriching Arabic media content. The Media Encyclopedia is a key example of this commitment, representing the QMC's dedication to cataloguing media concepts and terminology in Arabic and making them available as a specialized reference for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the field.
