Pune Lohagad Murder Case: 5,053-Page Chargesheet Details Alleged Conspiracy, Fake Instagram Account And Accident Plot

A massive 5,053-page chargesheet has been filed in the Ketan Agrawal murder case in Pune, revealing a carefully planned sequence of events that allegedly included reconnaissance of hill locations, a fake Instagram account, attempts to make the death appear accidental, and discussions about evading police investigation. Siya Goyal, Chetan Chaudhary, and Ritesh Hange are the three accused in the case.

The plan allegedly began with disabling Ketan, but the accused later decided to kill him themselves. The trio allegedly contacted people from outside Maharashtra to execute the plan, but abandoned the idea due to complications. They subsequently decided to carry out the murder themselves and researched murder methods using films, podcasts, and ChatGPT, aiming to make the death look like an accident.

Siya and Chetan visited Lonavala in late May to conduct reconnaissance, ultimately selecting Lohagad for the murder due to its potential to be portrayed as an accidental fall. The alleged attempt to take Ketan to Lohagad occurred on June 4, but the planned Bali trip never materialized when Siya allegedly tore Ketan's passport and discarded it.

On June 14, Siya allegedly pushed Ketan from the hill but failed. On the same day, the fake Instagram account 'Mahi' was allegedly created, and Ritesh Hange allegedly used it to lure Ketan to Lohagad on June 18, while Chetan was at the temple. Chetan allegedly pushed Ketan, causing him to fall from the hill and die.
