NPFL: Enyimba ready to end winless streak – Deutsch

Technical adviser for Enyimba, Emmanuel Deutsch, has declared that the Matchday 4 clash against Inter Lagos is a crucial victory. The People's Elephant are set to face Inter Lagos at Enyimba Stadium in Aba on Sunday. According to the Daily Post, Enyimba have failed to secure a win from their opening two games of the season. Despite the slow start, Deutsch remains optimistic.

"There is no fire on the mountain," he said, acknowledging that the team could have at least earned a point from those games, but fell short. "Our home game against Inter Lagos must be a victory for the home fans and supporters of Abia," Deutsch added, quoted by Complete Sports. He further assured that his team would not underestimate the recently promoted Inter Lagos.

"The spirit in camp is high, and we are not going to underestimate Inter Lagos despite their position in the league table. What is more important is that we are prepared to pick the three points."
