Namma BMTC 2.0 app now available for iPhone users

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has launched its "Namma BMTC 2.0" mobile application for iPhone users, expanding its digital public transport services to Apple users. The app, previously available for Android users, provides features such as digital BMTC tickets, bus passes, live bus tracking, a journey planner, and digital payment options.

Additionally, the app enables integrated ticketing between BMTC and Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., allowing users to access both bus and Metro services through a single platform. The app was unveiled by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar during an event celebrating 100 days of the Congress government in Karnataka. BMTC has encouraged iPhone users to download the application from the Apple App Store to access digital ticketing, bus tracking, and journey-planning services, promoting a more convenient, connected, and cashless public transport experience.
