Mamata's TMC rollercoaster: 3 days, 3 setbacks, then a breather

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) under Mamata Banerjee's leadership is experiencing a period of uncertainty as they face three setbacks within just three days. The Election Commission froze the party's name and symbol, causing confusion. A day later, a new name and symbol were assigned to the faction led by Mamata, while her rival faction received a different name and symbol.

Then, a TMC candidate, Sanchita Pradhan Dey, withdrew her nomination in the Nandigram seat, leaving Mamata scrambling for a new candidate. Later, the same candidate's replacement, Milan Pradhan, was arrested for involvement in criminal cases. Finally, TMC candidate Rabiul Alam Chowdhury also withdrew from the Rejinagar bypoll, only to reverse his decision due to Mamata's intervention. Despite the turbulence, Mamata appears to have found a breather from these setbacks.
