Kane hits Bundesliga century as Bayern rout Union

Harry Kane netted twice as Bayern Munich stormed to a 7-0 thrashing of Union Berlin on Friday, shattering the record for the fastest player to reach 100 Bundesliga goals. Kane had previously held the record, set by Cologne's Dieter Mueller in 1977, by 31 games. The England captain's double brought his tally to 156 goals in 156 domestic and international games, a record that makes him the most prolific scorer in the Bundesliga.

Kane expressed his pride in reaching the milestone, saying, "In the short time I've been here, I've loved every second of it. When I'm playing with these players - Michael (Olise), Luis (Diaz) and Jamal (Musiala), I'm going to get chances." When asked about his future at the club, Kane stated, "I'm extremely happy here. The talks are ongoing and they'll be ongoing for the near future."

Despite Kane's record-breaking performance, Michael Olise was the standout player for Bayern, scoring a hat-trick. The French forward opened the scoring with a brilliant first-half goal and added two more to make it six before halftime. The win is Bayern's biggest margin of victory since their 8-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg in January, and currently puts the champions at the top of the table.
