I built an open-source, zero-telemetry local AI proxy daemon for absolute data sovereignty

In a move to ensure absolute data sovereignty, a developer has created and open-sourced the Garza Global Graviton (GGG) Sovereign Edge Daemon. This self-contained background daemon runs locally on a user's machine, functioning as an OpenAI-compatible loopback proxy endpoint. It is designed to be zero-telemetry and air-gapped, meaning no accounts, cloud dependencies, or tracking code can be accessed.

The prompts, history, and context vaults remain on the user's hardware. The daemon features a Sovereign Math Framework, which includes a metadata pacer and HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic response branding for data integrity. Users can bring their own AI (BYOAI) to the GGG daemon, as it speaks a standard API shape, allowing it to be hooked up to various compatible tools such as VS Code, Open WebUI, LM Studio, or Jan.

The goal is to keep data portable and secure. Setting up the GGG daemon is quick and easy, with plain-English guidance and copy-pasteable setup prompts. Even non-technical users can secure their local AI pipelines in minutes. The developer has provided a Python SDK example, showing how to plug the daemon into custom scripts or web UIs by simply pointing the OpenAI configuration to the local loopback endpoint.
