Gunmen kill father of four in Rivers, family demands justice

Gunmen have mercilessly killed Kamadioye Krama, a devoted father of four, in the Emulation community of Abua/Odual Local Government Area in Rivers State. The tragic incident unfolded around 8pm on Friday. At the scene, Kamadioye's elder brother, Monday Krama, recounted that his brother had attended a planned coronation ceremony when gunmen stormed the venue, opening fire and leaving him fatally wounded.

The family has vehemently demanded justice for the deceased and urged the police to investigate the killing and bring the perpetrators to justice. Monday Krama expressed his sorrow over the senseless act, stating that he was in Port Harcourt when the news reached him, and that he is now in the village. He clarified that the gathering was not political, as the deceased was merely present to watch the youths arrange canopies for the coronation of a community stakeholder named Mr. ThankGod.

The deceased was married and left behind four young children. The Divisional Police Officer of the Abua/Odual Police Division, along with his personnel, paid a visit to the grieving family, and an official complaint had been lodged at the Abua/Odual Police Division. The spokesperson for the State Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police Blessing Agabe, confirmed the incident and stated that an ongoing investigation aims to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice.
