Ferrari reveals special black race suit for Charles Leclerc at F1 Singapore GP

Ferrari has announced a new special black race suit for its driver Charles Leclerc, who will wear it during the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix. This shift away from the team's usual Ferrari red with white details features a predominantly black ensemble. Alongside the race suit, the company has also unveiled a limited-edition cap, which will be on sale for admirers on October 5th.

Reactions to the new look have been mixed on social media. Some fans have praised the bold and striking appearance, describing it as "fire." Others, however, questioned the decision, expressing uncertainty about the choice for Singapore. One Redditor commented, "Nice, I mean I have no idea why they're doing it but… nice?" Another wrote, "The Dark Leclerc era has arrived. You heard it from us first 🚨."

While some Twitter users found the design appealing, others weren't as enthusiastic. One user remarked, "Damn it'd be sick if Lewis had an all-white suit under the lights," while another criticized the HP logo, deeming it "ugly as hell" and "out of place."

The new race suit is not without its concerns, as some fans pointed out practical issues. One remarked, "Good thing the race is at night because that is going to be hot AF in daytime practice," while another suggested that Ferrari should focus more on the fundamentals of grand prix racing rather than special suits and helmets.

As of now, Leclerc is in fifth place in the drivers' standings with 167 points, trailing championship leader Kimi Antolin by 125 points and his Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton by 24 points. The Singapore Grand Prix will be held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from October 9th to 11th. Prior to Singapore, Ferrari will participate in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on September 24th to 26th, followed by the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia from October 2nd to 4th.
