EPL: ‘You must find a way’ – Redknapp cautions Alonso over treatment of incredible Chelsea star

Former Premier League player Jamie Redknapp has expressed concern over Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso's treatment of Brazilian star Estevao Willian. Following Chelsea's 3-0 defeat to Brentford, Redknapp emphasized that Alonso must find a way to incorporate the incredible talent into his squad this season. Chelsea's recent form has been worrying, with the team conceding at least two goals in every one of their past five Premier League matches.

Estevao's lack of playing opportunities has been a recurring issue, with the Brazilian only getting 23 minutes across four substitute appearances. Despite Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers being the first-choice options in the attacking positions, Redknapp believes Alonso needs to solve the problem of integrating Estevao into the lineup. Although Joao Pedro has been sidelined due to a knee injury, Palmer, Rogers, and Pedro Neto have been sharing responsibilities in the right wing-back and left flank positions.

Redknapp made his remarks on Sky Sports, questioning why an incredible player like Estevao should not be playing for the team. He added that the manager must solve the problem of fitting him into the squad. Reports this month suggested that Estevao is concerned about his position within Alonso's system and might reconsider his commitment to the club in January if things do not improve.
