Melissa Barrera, known for her roles in "Scream" and "In the Heights," also paid tribute to Sheik, sharing footage of her performance in the Broadway production during its premiere in Mexico City. Barrera expressed how Sheik's music created a lasting impression on her teenage years, and how his contribution to the show was invaluable.
