Drishyam Actress Shriya Saran Reveals Why She Had Hired Only Blind People In Her Spa - FPJ Exclusive

Shriya Saran, a prominent actress, recently revealed the reason behind her decision to hire only visually challenged individuals at her spa called Shree Spa. The spa was located in Lokhandwala, Mumbai, and was named after her. Shriya informed reporters that the spa had employed trained therapists and masseurs, some of whom were completely blind, while others had a limited vision of around 15 percent.

Shriya's motivation for opening the spa stemmed from her regular visits to a blind school situated opposite her residence, DPS Mathura Road, in New Delhi. She would often watch the blind children play cricket and observed their exceptional touch sense. She and her mother, Neeraja, recognized the lack of employment opportunities for visually impaired people in India, which led them to conceptualize the spa idea.

The unique selling point of the spa was the enhanced touch sense of the visually challenged employees, which resulted in superior massage services compared to those offered by other masseurs. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, Shree Spa was forced to close its operations. Despite its closure, Shriya hopes that the universe and its unseen forces will bring about a revival of the spa, allowing it to flourish once again.
