Deepika Padukone once dreamed of ‘three little kids’; Ranveer wanted a ‘cute baby’ like her

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on September 19. The couple, already parents to daughter Dua, announced the arrival of their new baby through an Instagram post featuring a simple card with the baby's footprint. Deepika had previously expressed her desire for "three little kids" in a 2013 roundtable discussion, sharing her wish to have a happy family while continuing her acting career.

Ranveer, on the other hand, had acknowledged that it was mainly Deepika's decision to start a family, adding that he allowed her to make most of the decisions due to her maturity and evolved nature. In 2021, Ranveer jokingly shared about Deepika's baby photos, expressing his desire to have a child resembling her cute baby and suggesting that their daughter Dua would be the perfect role model.

Deepika emphasized her love for children and her hope to instill similar values in her children, focusing on her upbringing and the importance of maintaining her family values in the industry.
