BritBox unveils swoon-worthy first look at The Other Bennet Sister Christmas special

BritBox has revealed an exclusive peek at its upcoming Christmas special for The Other Bennet Sister, a highly acclaimed adaptation of Janice Hadlow's novel of the same name. The three-part series will once again focus on Mary, the often overlooked Bennet sister from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The special picks up where season one left off, with Mary's romantic prospects looking brighter than ever.

Series writer Sarah Quintrell has penned all three episodes, based on storylines by Hadlow, and series director Asim Abbasi returns to bring the Bennet family back to Longbourn. Ruth Jones, Dónal Finn, Tanya Reynolds, Laurie Davidson, and series star Ella Bruccoleri are among the returning cast members. According to BritBox, the tenth episode of the series saw Mary agree to marry Tom, but the show's official release states, "But with marriage comes a new identity and the question remains: Who will Mary become as Mrs. Hayward?"

While the Christmas special is expected to premiere on BritBox in December 2026, no official premiere date has been confirmed yet.
