Benijofar tapas trail returns with 23 restaurants and €500 top prize

Benijofar's popular tapas trail makes a return from October 2 to 4, featuring 23 local restaurants and a grand prize of €500. La Rueda de las Tapas is an annual event organized by Benijofar Town Hall to encourage residents and visitors to explore the town's food scene. Participants can visit participating restaurants, sample the unique tapas each establishment offers, and collect stamps on their event cards.

Voting for the favourite tapa takes place, with the winning restaurant receiving a €1,000 prize. The Habanero tourist train operates during the event, providing an alternative to cars for travelling between venues. Additional prize draws offer €50, €300, and the coveted €500 top prize for those who collect a certain number of stamps or complete the entire tapas trail.
