Aaron Judge would 'like to be back by the postseason' but has no timeline for Yankees return

Judge, who previously missed three months due to a fractured rib, is eligible to come off the injured list for the regular-season finale on September 27th. The injury occurred in his first at-bat of the game against the Minnesota Twins, affecting his soleus muscle in the calf, which makes it challenging to engage in any baseball activities except for throwing.

Despite his frustration, Judge is not second-guessing his decision to play with the Yankees. He noted, "You know, you feel things every single year," and mentioned that calf issues are typically managed throughout the season, but this particular strain presented an unusual challenge. The Yankees, currently in the No. 1 wild-card spot, are set to host the Boston Red Sox in a best-of-three series beginning September 29th. A victory would advance the team to face the first-place Tampa Bay Rays in the Division Series.
