25 UAE hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah named Michelin Key winners

The MICHELIN Guide has announced the 2026 hotel Key selection, revealing that the UAE boasts 82 hotels across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah. Of these, 25 establishments have earned a MICHELIN Key, a classification system introduced in 2024, akin to a restaurant's star rating. Among the UAE's Key hotels, 19 received One Key, five earned Two Keys, and one achieved the prestigious Three Key designation.

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai holds the distinction of being the only Three Key hotel in the country. Dubai leads with the most Two Key hotels, featuring notable properties such as One&Only The Palm, Bvlgari Resort Dubai, and The Lana. Abu Dhabi's leading Key hotel is the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, also awarded Two Keys. Ras Al Khaimah's Al Wadi Desert property at The Ritz-Carlton and Anantara Mina Ras Al Khaimah earned Two and One Keys, respectively.

Other notable Key hotels include Al Maha and Anantara Qasr al Sarab in the Liwa Desert. Gwendal Poullennec, MICHELIN's international director, commented on the hospitality sector's strong momentum this year, with nearly 470 hotels added to the Key selection globally. The MICHELIN Guide now encompasses over 9,400 properties worldwide, with 2,832 holding a Key.

This represents a significant increase of more than 2,200 hotels since the program's launch in October 2025. The 2026 selection includes 600 Key hotels in Asia and the Middle East, comprising 173 new Keys and promotions, alongside 34 Three Key properties. This year, MICHELIN Guide Dubai will host its fifth edition ceremony on October 6, with Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah named as top UAE destinations.
