Ukraine Opens New Border Checkpoint With Romania
The new Bila Tserkva-Sighetu Marmației checkpoint operates 24 hours a day and allows cars weighing up to 3.5 tons, with a projected capacity of up to 700 cars per day. The rest of the checkpoint remains under construction, while traffic can also pass through a neighboring checkpoint connecting Sighetu Marmației with the Ukrainian village of Solotvyno.
