Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stressed the paramount importance of AI safety as the technology continues to advance.

Sir Demis Hassabis, co-founder of Google DeepMind, predicted that artificial general intelligence could emerge within a few years, potentially impacting society tenfold compared to the Industrial Revolution. Recent concerns over AI capabilities have grown, with researchers, executives, and regulators questioning the rapid pace of development and the associated risks, including cyber threats.

The global race for AI advancements is prompting countries, such as Nigeria, to invest in infrastructure, skills, and technological capabilities to compete in the emerging AI economy.
